Asterix And The Magic Carpet

This book is about a person called Asterix and his best friend Obilex. They are both gauls. In this book they have to go to India to make it rain or there princess will have here head chopped off. Then an Asian Fakir flew in to there village on a magic carpet. He asks for the villages bard. His name is Cocafonix and he can make it rain by singing. The chief of the village says to Watziznehm the Asian fakir that he can take the bard unless he takes Asterix and Obelix with him to. Getafix the druid gives Asterix a magic potion that gives anyone super strength. so they leave as soon as possible. It was a long trip to the palace. The carpet rips on the way so they have to find a new one then they find a village with magic carpets. they ask for someone to repair there magic carpet. They say no. Then suddenly an army of bandits. They take a magic carpet and fly straight to the bandits to attack them. They win the fight and have a big feast and a magic carpet. when they get to India Cocafonix is about to sing but he loses his voice. They have to make him go in Elephant poo for a night. In the night two men take him to a place where Elephants die and leave him there. The next morning they go back to get him but he is gone. They find the two men and they get them to take them there. When they get back to the city the princess is about to be killed but then Asterix punches the person out of the way and starts a fight. All the guards attack them but when the king gets there the fight stops and Cocafonix sings and it starts to rain. When they get back they have a big feast as usual.

Geronimo Stilton: The Mouse Island Marathon

This book is about mouse called Geronimo Stilton. He goes on lots adventures. In this book a mouse called Champ Strongpaws signs him up for a marathon around mouse island. He trains for most of the day. On the day of the marathon a snowstorm comes. Everyone has to find there way to the starting line. Then suddenly on your mark, get set go! Hundreds of mice were rushing out of the starting line. As they were running through town Geronimo Stilton's nephew Benjamin came running out to give him a drink. He told Geronimo, "you're going great uncle." Then suddenly he fainted. But then Trap and His sister Thea gave him some cheese. Then he felt an extra boost of speed. But then Geronimo Stilton, Champ Strongpaws and some more mice run straight into a sandstorm. They hide behind a block wall. When the sandstorm stops they continue. There are more obstacles in the way like an earthquake. When the race is nearly over a cat comes so he runs as fast as he can. Then he runs straight through the other mice and to the finish line. In the end he wins. This is a great book. You should read it.

Astrosaurs: The Hatching Horror

This book is about dinosaurs who left earth millions of years ago and settled down in a galaxy called the Jurassic Quadrant. In this book a type of dinosaur called a plateosaurus. They were nearly extinct because they settled down on a planet called Platus. But they didn't like it as much as earth so they set back for earth. However they flew into a cosmic storm on there way. The only survivors managed to get back to Platus but t-Rex's had taken over. They started a war. Now there are not many left. But some scientists found some eggs in space. But some
ovirapters stole them but they were just fake ones. They took the eggs back to the planet. They find out the planet is actually a giant egg. They need to get off the planet quickly. The engines didn't work but they had a plan. The plan was to be flung into space when the egg hatches. The plan worked.
